Our mission is to create jobs for Glades County residents, their children and grandchildren, by promoting new business recruitment and existing business retention and expansion while protecting the quality of life we enjoy here.

Glades County, by location, landscape and culture, represents the Heartland of Florida. Here, agriculture remains a primary industry for its residents, and its natural resources remain their playground. Unaffected by the dramatic growth of Florida’s coasts, Glades County has the rare luxury of planning for its future, so the best of it can be protected, and growth will have positive results.
